ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci, born on the 29th of October, 1986, is a Canadian-American actor. Her roles include April Carver's character in the ABC Family television series Chasing Life (2014)-2015, and Emily Rhodes, White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor on Designated Survivor (2016) to 2019. Ricci first began acting in American productions in 2009 , with minor parts in How I Met Your Mother and House. In the same year, she also appeared in a regular role as Sasha in the comedy series Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she was a guest in Unnatural History on Cartoon Network as Maggie Winnock. She was also in a Clean & Clear commercial. In 2011, Ricci appeared in the short film Valediction. In 2013, Ricci appeared in a small role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut film Don Jon.
